F-Gas Requirement
  • All Air Conditioning Systems including this system must be installed by FGAS Register or REFCOM registered Engineer. (DEFRA)
  • We offer installation in most parts of UK, please contact us for installation price. Alternatively You may hire an F-GAS Certified Installer to install this system and provide us with the evidence once the installation is completed. This will meet the F-Gas and Manufacturer’s Parts only Warranty requirements. Installation of air conditioning systems by someone other than an F-Gas installer is against F-Gas regulations and shall invalidate manufacturer’s warranty.
  • If you can’t find a good installer, search REFCOM or FGAS register for your local F-GAS registered Installers by providing your postcode, don’t hire an installer if he does not have ID card issued by REFCOM or by FGAS register. All latest air conditioning system contain R32 Refrigerant which is mildly inflammable please do not hire Plumbers, Electricians or Cowboys to install these systems, a leak in the system can cause fatal accident.
  • Kindly note, installation of Air conditioning system is against the law if installed by anyone other than a Member of REFCOM or FGAS Register. This is a requirement of the Article 11 (5) EC/517/2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases and The Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations 2015.
Payment Terms for Supply and Installation:
  • We typically request a 65% upfront payment, which allows us to:
  • Next-Day Delivery of Systems and Materials: If payment is received before 12:00 PM on any working day, we can arrange for next-day delivery of your air conditioning system and necessary materials. Please note that deliveries are only made on weekdays; weekend deliveries are not available.
  • Balanced Payment Plan: The 65% payment covers the cost of the system, materials. The remaining 35% is due only after installation is complete, ensuring that you don’t need to pay the full amount until you are completely satisfied with our work.
  • Some customers prefer to pay 100% upfront: While this is not mandatory, we are happy to accommodate this preference if it suits you better.
  • For added security: if you prefer to pay by card, we also offer a third option through PayPal. If you would like us to invoice you through PayPal, please let us know.
  • Please note: For part payments, these cannot be processed through our payment gateway and must be made via bank transfer.
  • *Payments through ‘American Express Cards’ are not accepted.

Refund-Return Policy (online purchases only):
  • We hope that you will be 100% satisfied with your purchase of goods from our internet site. However if, within 14 days of receipt of your online sales order, you are not satisfied or wish to return your goods, please contact us immediately to arrange the return of the goods, as per the procedure listed in first paragraph below.
  • Goods will need to be returned back to our distribution centre – please email us at: info@basildonacr.co.uk, or call us on 01268 281752 for the return address before you send anything back.  All returned goods must be in “as-new” condition, with complete unopened and undamaged sealed packaging. Refunds for returned goods will be made at the price at which the goods were purchased. It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange return shipping of the goods and pay the return shipping charges.
  • Goods that have been opened, marked/soiled, will only be entitled to a partial refund (not exceeding 50% of the purchase price) after assessment by Basildon ACR. 
  • Goods deemed non-saleable, damaged or used will not be refunded and will only be returned to the customer at the Customer’s cost.
What happens if my items delivered are damaged or incorrect? If you have received your delivery and products are damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours with your order reference and full details of the products, so that our teams can resolve this for you. Where possible, always check the goods before the courier leaves the premises and sign for goods as damaged or don’t accept the delivery.
Manufacturer’ Parts Only Warranty: 
  • Manufacturer’s warranty covers parts only, once Air conditioning system unpacked and installed only faulty parts shall be supplied. Cost of parts replacement is not covered by this warranty. A reputable Installer shall provide you 1-year labour warranty, if an installer does not offer 1-year labour warranty avoid him and find one who does.
  • Goods are guaranteed against defects in accordance with the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. Parts under manufacturer’s warranty are guaranteed in the UK mainland only. The warranties do not apply to any defect in the goods caused by the negligence or failure of the Customer to use the goods for their normal intended purposes or failure to adhere to manufacturer instructions. Basildon ACR may in its reasonable discretion invalidate warranties for any goods that have been or are suspected to have been altered, tampered with, serviced, repaired or attended to without Basildon ACR’s prior approval.
  • Please send to us installation and commissioning reports prepared and signed by your Installer along with their credentials, immediately after installation completed in order to validate manufacturers warranty. By failing to do so shall invalidate your manufacturer’s parts only warranty.
  • Air Conditioning systems require Annual Service in order to keep manufacturer’s parts only warranty valid, please send us a service report prepared by your service provided, regularly every year for the period of warranty.
